For Hubert Laskowski, the 2021 season is a time of training and preparing for battle on the roads, but soon he will be able to feel the taste of sporting competition. But before that happens, it’s time to present this year’s colours.
This year Hubert will drive the latest Peugeot design, the 208 Rally4. The front-wheel-drive car offers the driver 208 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. A five-speed SADEV gearbox is responsible for the transmission.
Hubert’s Peugeot will be adorned in the colours of the Marten company, which is heavily involved in rallying. Pirelli, Intertrade and Jubi-Tom brands can also be spotted on the white, green and blue machine.
For the second season, Marten is supporting rally crews in achieving better results on local and international special stages. With pride and joy we would like to announce that a young but very talented Hubert Laskowski will join the group of our charges this season. He will certainly compete in the Lithuanian championships and… maybe somewhere else. We wish Hubert that our support will result in gaining the experience needed to become a Champion, said a representative of the management board of Marten Sp. z o.o.
Joining the ranks of drivers supported by Marten is a great honour for me. I thank them very much for their trust in me. I will do everything in my power not to disappoint their expectations. Thanks to them I will be able to develop as a driver, and I strongly believe that the upcoming season will allow me to jump to an even higher level, said Hubert Laskowski.
The 15-year-old Hubert, apart from taking part in the Peugeot 208 R2, already has a Skoda Fabia Rally2 drive on his CV. During the Tor Modlin Rally Show, he unofficially achieved top times, which turned into receiving the Leszek Kuzaj Flat Out Trophy.
The young driver’s sponsors are also the companies: Marten, Pirelli, Intertrade Logistics Limited, Jubi-Tom Jubiler Kobierzyce, Atech Racing Polska. The Car-Speed Racing is responsible for servicing the car.
