Laskowski will make his debut in the Rally2/R5 class. A 14-year-old with another record!

Hubert Laskowski, who last weekend debuted in sports competition in front of the Polish spectators, can talk about an extremely successful start, in which he needed less than a second to win the class!
The 14-year-old and his co-driver Adam Jaros tackled the sections of the Marten Rally Strzelinski, a round of the MSP Rally Trophy. Reliable Peugeot 208 R2 operated by Car Speed Racing was a fantastic weapon in the hands of the young driver. Already on the first trial Laskowski won the special section in class and got the fourth best time in the general classification, which he later repeated on the second trial! The best performance of the young driver was the third round of Przeworno, where he reached the podium of the special section in the general classification. After a fierce battle, the Laskowski/Jaros duo eventually took second place in Class 3 and fifth place overall, leaving behind many teams using more powerful cars. They missed out on winning the class by just 0.78 seconds!
“Last weekend Adam Jaros and I tackled the routes of the Marten Rally Strzelinski. The plan before the start was to finish the competition without mistakes at a very good pace, which we did. I am very pleased with this achievement. We came second in class and fifth overall, which shows that our pace was really good. We missed out on winning the class by just 0.78 seconds! Such differences are more often seen in racing, not rallying. It’s a pity we didn’t manage to win in these fast and challenging special sections, but now I feel even more confident and I will definitely push forward to develop as a driver,” said Laskowski.
The rally weapon was a Peugeot 208 R2 operated by the Car Speed Racing from Cieszyn. Adam Jaros sat in the right-hand seat. Sponsors of the young driver are the companies: Intertrade Logistics Limited, Jubi-Tom Jubiler Kobierzyce and Just Profits Club.
